Grace Baptist Mission was started in 1986 by their first pastor Dr. Gail E. Terrell under the authority of  Twin brook Hills Baptist Church Hamilton, Ohio and their pastor at that time David Mitchell.
The church first held their weekly services in the home of Russell and Joy Keith in Sharonville, Ohio. 

 In 1987 Emmanuel Baptist Church in Centerville, Ohio Pastor Darrell Messer took over as our sponsoring church. 
    After the church outgrew the Keith’s basement they rented a Hopewell junior school in Westchester, Ohio. From there the church moved on to rent a day care in in Sharonville, Ohio. After much prayer and deliberation the Lord led Grace Baptist to purchase a church building from what was then known as Temple Baptist Church in Fairfield Township, Ohio. This remains our Church Building to this day.


In May of 1987 Grace Baptist Mission was organized into Grace Baptist Church under the authority of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Pastor Darrell Messer

Dr. Gail Terrell was pastor of Grace Baptist Church from it’s inception in 1987 until the Lord called him home October 10, 2003

Dr. Gail Terrell was an experienced scientist and science teacher, and was Pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Dr. Terrell’s academic credentials are as follows: from the University of Cincinnati-Ph.D. in interdisciplinary studies, M.Ed .in science and mathematics, M.B.A. in marketing, B.S. in chemical engineering; from Cincinnati Baptist Bible College-Th.D. And  M.Div.

Dr. Terrell accumulated 10 years of experience in the chemical industry and over 30 years of science teaching experience at the college and high school levels. Dr. Terrell co-founded and served as President and  Professor at Temple Baptist College

 Dr. Terrell also taught biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus at Land mark Christian High School.

Dr. Terrell presented scientific creationism in public educational institutions and in debates with evolutionists. He appeared on TV programs defending scientific creationism as the most scientific explanation of ultimate origins. Dr. Terrell regularly presents both Biblical and scientific creationism in churches.

Dr Terrell went home to the Lord October of 2003

In March of 2005 the Lord led Grace Baptist Church to call Brother Keith Kinder as it’s new pastor. Brother Kinder was serving as an assistant to the pastor at Shoshoni Spring Baptist Church to Mt. Sterling, KY. To learn more on Br. Kinder click on the link above.
